1.20.2023 Bargaining Update

Updated: Jan 26, 2023

After four long days of bargaining with the Medical Center, we've made more progress on our next collective bargaining agreement. We've reached several tentative agreements regarding things like the grievance and arbitration process. We had insightful discussions with the administration regarding weekend and holiday scheduling, and we presented our proposal for staffing language that seeks to raise staffing levels throughout the Medical Center.

As our next bargaining dates on January 26 and 27 approach, we need to send a strong message of solidarity to the administration to demand they bargain a fair contract that puts patients over profits. We are encouraging all colleagues and community members to sign our petition at munsonnurses.org/sign.

The decisions that Munson administration makes affect not only us, but our patients and the communities we serve. Once you've signed yourself, share munsonnurses.org/sign on social media, with your coworkers, friends and family and encourage them to sign as well! Click here to sign the petition now!

You can also show your solidarity by wearing MNA swag!
