In our last bargaining session before the holidays, we had several productive conversations with the Medical Center. We made proposals related to the working conditions of non-bedside nurses and discussed tuition reimbursement and our desire to eliminate the BSN requirement. Additionally, we had a long initial discussion about floating to better understand each party’s positions and hope to see those conversations continue when we reconvene in January.

Negotiations will resume on January 4 and 5, 2023. We wish all of our nurses a happy holidays and look forward to the progress we make on a new collective bargaining agreement in the new year!
