We have a TA!

3/16/2019

We did it!

We stood up for a stronger voice, better working conditions, and better wages. By staying united, we accomplished something truly historic.

We reached a comprehensive tentative agreement with Munson that will limit mandatory overtime, give nurses a voice in safe staffing, and provide the wages needed to recruit and retain quality RNs.

MNA members need to vote in the coming days to ratify our contract. Sign up here to become a member so you can hear the full details and cast your vote!

Nurses, our families, and our community will benefit from this agreement. Together, we have forged a path that puts our patients first.

Sign your membership card now to keep our collective voice strong and clear.

A series of ratification meetings and votes will soon be scheduled – stay alert for an email announcing the times. Further details will follow.

In solidarity,
Your Elected RN Bargaining Team.
P.S. Only members are eligible to vote. Sign your membership card now to make sure you can vote.

3.7.19 Bargaining Update

3/7/2019

We’re SO Close!

Dear fellow Munson nurse,

We have been negotiating at a furious pace and are very close to reaching an overall TA. Last week we negotiated for three straight days. We have continued to trade proposals with management since then in the hopes of pulling together a complete agreement. Right now the outstanding issues are scheduling, a management rights clause, and a few remaining issues regarding our wages. The solidarity of the Munson nurses is making a significant difference in the negotiations. When we reach an overall tentative agreement we will have more details for you and the next step will be a ratification vote where members will have the ability to review the agreement and have the final say. If we are unable to reach a complete TA then we will provide a detailed breakdown of where we are apart and our next steps. We know everyone wants to know every detail as it happens, but please keep standing in solidarity and in support of our collective efforts for a fair first contract. As long as we stand together, we know we can win!

Sincerely,
Your RN Bargaining Team
